It’s never too late to live! Everyone in this whole wide world wants to live life as fit as a flea, to enjoy a happy life where there will be satisfaction. To live, life needs a few things. One may need to change to vision, his perspective, eating habits, to live well. To live with your loved ones is also an important factor. As life is harder for those, who have nobody to support them in their tough times, to help them heal their wounds. Though love doesn’t feed a starving stomach, it makes people realize how well they are in life than people who have nobody to love them.
Life is too short to be spent worrying about the nothingness that makes it up, so in the end, proper living simply involves remembering that you live for one reason: Yourself.
What do you need to live well? This is a hard question with a simple answer. Aside from livable conditions (adequate water, air, soil, etc), people need food, clothing, shelter, family, faith, community, and social order. Basic needs, Psychological needs, and self-fulfillment needs are
three basic requirements to fulfill to live a happy and contented life.
Basic needs Physiological needs:
Food
The very basic need of our body to grow and function properly is “food”. A balanced meal three times a day that contains protein, carbohydrate, fats. Spending one or two days without food will lead you to starvation and atrophy.
Water
70% of our body contains water. Water is the most important component that helps our body to function properly. It helps in the digestion of food and the processing of waste.
Rest
sleeping 6-9 hours a day helps your brain to work properly. While sleeping our brain removes the toxins that accumulate while you are awake. Other than that, Sleep enhances the functionality of our brain, helps in communicating in a better way, and learning new stuff.
Safety needs:
Shelter
We need protection from freezing temperatures. Rain, wind, and burning sun. Without protection, human skin can burn up and organs can be harmed. Our homes are a shelter for us that protects us from all these harmful situations. A roof, a floor, walls, electricity, running water are basic needs your shelter must possess.
Psychological needs
Rapport and love needs:
Friends- Friends are the family we choose. Friends are those blessings of God we can act weird with. They make our life beautiful, help us in building memories that we can cherish forever. They help us to get through bad times. Best friends are those who stick around us in thick and thin of life. They provide us with opportunities to make our life better. They help us to become the best version of ourselves. They celebrate with us when we are happy and give us their shoulder to cry when we are sad. The more friends we have, the more chance we get to live a joyful life.
Intimate relationship
Develop a deep relationship with a person you love the most. A person you can share your all dark secrets without the fear of judging you. While being around them you feel contentment, happy, and safe. A person who loves to spend those cold nights with you, with a cup of coffee, while reading a romantic novel.
Self-fulfillment needs
Education
Most people don’t get a chance to educate themselves. From education, it’s not only meant to get degrees, but it also concerns mannerisms. Education taught us to deal with people, to deal with different circumstances. What is the advantage of getting degrees if you are still dealing with people poorly? Education gives us the advantage of self-grooming as well. It helps us think
out of the box. It not only makes us capable of earning good but also helps in making the right decisions.
Have a thought process that focuses on life skills like happiness, health, discipline, honesty, dedication. You will fall in place for a mannered life.
Have a positive outlook in any situation. It’s tough but can be attained easily by practicing daily.
Focus on your goals- Take some time and think about what you want for yourself, Where do you see yourself in the future. Strive for what your heart desires. Chasing your dreams will give you the purpose of your life.
Set a timeline, make steps on how you will achieve your goals. Set a goal that’s unchangeable. Live a path that is always evolving.
Novelty
Novelty is to try new things without fear of being failed. It’s a desire to do something different, something big that makes you feel fulfilled. It releases dopamine hormones in our body. Without trying new stuff, we lose our motivation. Hence get bored with similarity and ultimately with our life.
Love
Love yourself. Make yourself a priority. No one can love you better than you love yourself so, love yourself even more. You might wonder why self-love is that important, well it’s because in life many bullshit comes your way, many wrong turns are made and we put our trust in many people when we don’t even trust ourselves to the fullest. So trust yourself the most and do everything that makes you happy.
Travel
Travelling takes you to a whole new level of joy. Try spending time with your favorite person in new places where you never have been before. Make bonds with strangers. Try making new friends. Going to a new place with strangers might sound weird but it gives you a chance to explore people’s mentality. You can go alone somewhere, to your most favorite place. It could be mighty mountains, deep forests, or a calming seaside. Spend some quality time with yourself.
Recreational activities
There is lots of stuff that comes under the roof of recreational activities. Playing games with kids or your friends, going on mountain climbing, hiking or any other kind of adventures can make you fresher for the day. Doing some exercise will release happy hormones in your body that make you happy and healthy.
